Powder coating is an environmentally friendly process unlike solvent based liquid paint. Because in the powder coating process there is no use solvents in any way so VOC emission problems are eliminated. Use of powder coating does not affect the environment.
Rules and regulations for powder coating waste disposal vary from states and regional councils. Manly powder coating is suitable for landfill. however it is important to contact your local council and or Environmental Protection Agency office to clarify the requirements of waste disposal. Waste powder is placed in sealed packs with no leaks of nuisance dust. This will ensure that powder is not gone to the atmosphere when loaded to the waste vehicle. Clear powder coating is the same as clear coat wet paint. It protects the base coat finish and adds gloss & smoothness to the surface. Clear powder coating is applied on a base coat as a Top coat. Then the piece is again go to the oven for a second curing process. Use clear powder coat also used alone as transparent coating.
Yes, you can coat multiple colors by masking off the places that you need to be coat with different colors. you can easily give multiple colors to a part. You will use a different setup for each of the different colors
Masking keeps powder off threads and away from gasket surfaces. High temperature masking is used to special surfaces such as threads or high tolerance areas to keep them from being coated. You can also use high temperature silicone plugs for threaded holes.

It will take approx one week to develop powder and send to the customer for approval. When we receive the final approval from the customer we will go to the production lot. It takes approx 2-3 days. We can also develop and make the powder straight away; that depends on the customers.
